Sunset Hike at Mindego Hill with POST

On this 5-mile excursion, you?ll hike from the Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve to the top of the POST-protected Mindego Hill and back. Enjoy the sunset with views up and down the Santa Cruz Mountains from one of the most prominent peaks in the range! This hike is somewhat strenuous, so be prepared for a workout! We?ll have a snack at the top of Mindego Hill, and be back to the cars by 8:00pm. Protected by POST and managed by the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, Mindego Hill is an excellent example of how POST works with various partners to protect some of the most threatened lands in our area.
